Hi, all if you're thinking of remapping your Volvo at Celtic Tuning it is awesome to unleash the full potential of your Volvo wish I had done it ages ago. Saving fuel by using higher gears also driving sensible. Celtic can now upgrade your Volvo by the OBD port took 30 mins and it's brilliant.

Got my first 4x4 for winter to carry our baby and puppy around and needless to say I wasn’t happy with the laziness of the 163 XC90.

Booked in a stage 1 with Celtic tuning and Cameron arrived on time and within a couple of hours transformed my car. Torque increase means I am more confident at junctions and roundabouts and the remap means at cruising speeds, it doesn’t feel like the car is struggling. All this with better mpg’s Too.

To be truthful, I was a bit disappointed with my XC90 after I bought it. For a 3 ltr engine - all right I know it's a heavy car - it just seemed like a bit of a tank. And I know it is a bit of a tank! Anyway, I was going to Cornwall for the half term and arranged with CT to get the car's s/w updated in Newquay.

Bloody hell!! What a difference. It now moves as good as the Volvo S60 2.4 petrol turbo that I part exchanged this tank for. And yes the fuel economy is better - but 14mpg in town (previously 11!) and maybe 25 on the A303 (versus 21 before tune-up) is still a bitter pill to swallow.

At my age I should be slowing down, but I do like surprising people away from the lights!!! Well done CT.

I had a Volvo v50 T5 remaped with Celtic Tuning, the service was first class from start to finish. The car was quick to start with but this made it that much better, great fun to drive.

I would strongly recommend Celtic Tuning for a remap.

From booking my Volvo in for the stage one treatment to the drive home Celtic Tuning were amazing.

This is the second time I have visited Celtic and highly recommend. Fantastic knowledge and service from start to finish and the facilities are fantastic. Completely transformed my S40 2.0d more power, more torque and a noticeable increase in MPG. Top job as always.

Austin at Keep Driving in Llansamlet Swansea told me about Celtic Tuning last year and that he was hoping to be able to supply and fit their products in the future. Last week he stage 1 remapped my 2002 S60 T5. I was a little apprehensive because I had heard that some alterations to the standard set up start throwing up fault codes etc. However, Austin reassured me and I left the car in his hands.                  

I collected the car later that day and could not believe the difference. The tick over and gentle pull off was unchanged which was good. When I put my foot down the extra power was just amazing. I am also averaging an extra 5mpg around town. The car pulls up hills in 3rd gear that previously would need 2nd. All I can say is if you have any doubts go and talk to Austin, you won't be disappointed and not many garages are as honest and competent as this one.

Well I did it I took the plunge and got my Volvo C70 D5 chipped to 235hp......OMG it is absolutely fantastic. I cannot believe the difference. Now the car's performance matches the looks. I kid you not ...Bloody do it.

it drives smoother when I am in traffic and yet when I nail it, it turns into a savage lol. Why on earth do Volvo not set it up like this from factory settings. It is quite sensational, it’s not that far off the T5 and yet I am still doing 30-35 in city traffic. Believe me I have done the maths, now you do the maths £295.00 for this kind of performance? it’s a no brainer. The best £295.00 I ever spent.

Technician turned up spot on time, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. It took half hour and once again, the thing is a real contender for any car. By the way I have timed it 6.6... 0-60 mph and the 50-100mph is staggering (in Germany of course lol). Trust me on this Volvo D5 owners stop thinking about it just do it you will kick yourself why you haven't done it much sooner.

I will never go back and especially when the D5 engines is one of the finest diesel engines ever made. They are bullet proof a great car just got better by Celtic Tuning. Thank you so much Celtic.

This is my second trip to Celtic Tuning; I was so impressed with the knowledge and work that Graham and his team performed on my 850 T5 I booked my V70 T5 for a similar make over.

Having had the benefit of the first remap on my 850 T5 approx 3 years ago by Celtic Tuning I was very keen to see similar gains in both performance and fuel economy.

Strange to believe I know, but post remap the 850 T5 returned an additional 5 mpg. The set up at Celtic is certainly impressive, with the new workshop and rolling road facilities completing the package.

One thing I like about the set up there is the relaxed atmosphere, however behind the scenes there seems to be a buzz about performance and technology that is simply beyond me. But more importantly and unlike others there's no false pretenses on magical power figures, there spot on with predicted gains and they deliver ‘what it says on the tin’.

So on the road the V70 T5 now pulls 1 bar boost, low down it’s more responsive and torque is definitely up. Third gear is interesting (especially in the wet), and it’s great to pass the ‘younger’ generation in my Swedish arm chair!!!!!

Fuel consumption is better all round and is now returning an additional 6 mpg on a long run, If you’re considering a remap, check these guys out. I even took my kids along as there’s a games console and viewing area.
