Before Remap:Power 130bhp, Torque 228lbft
After Remap:Power 185bhp, Torque 310lbft
Objective was to remove ‘flat spots’. Especially the ‘turbo lag’ you get trying to sprint off. Torque band typically at 1900 - 2100 rpm
I wanted a quicker response from a standing start.
Mark the technician performed the remap with his trusty laptop and magic software.
He was punctual, helpful, professional and friendly - thanks Mark.
Objectives met plus more:-
1. No ‘flat spots’ car is able to sprint now, great at busy roundabouts
2. Acceleration incredible in all gears
3. Higher Torque band now through all rpm range - 900 - 3000rpm !
4. More responsive, much improved acceleration generally.
5. Absolute delight to drive !
I would highly recommend Celtic Tuning to anyone.

Alongside the engine control unit (ECU) we are also able to provide transmission control unit (TCU) software to help further enhance your vehicle. There is a lot of limitation built into modern gearbox software to help hold back the power gains you are trying to achieve from your engine, our gearbox software overcomes this and helps transform the way the car drives. Some of the modifications include raising maximum torque limiters, faster gear shift speeds, increased clamping pressures to prevent clutch wear, increased engine RPM limiters and much more…
