The new generation of FSi engine provides direct injection and takes refinement and economy to a new level. With a Celtic Tuning remap these engines get a nice increase in mid range torque, and with more power at the top end, coupled with a raised rpm limiter, makes for a nice improvement to performance whilst being of no detriment to fuel economy. The flat spots are also eradicated from the power delivery. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.d as our fast road application which is the best all round performance for stock vehicles.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to raise the RPM limiter enabling a wider RPM band for performance. This is available on both petrol and diesel engines.Where applicable we are able to raise/lower or completely remove the maximum speed limiter from a vehicle.

Gareth from Celtic arrived on time (which is always a good sign) and after about an hour he had completed the re-tune. On the test drive I could feel the extra power but it was not until 2 days and 250 miles later that the car smoothed out, and then it started to deliver its proper power.

My Jetta now pulls like a train, the difference is extraordinary, it pulls in 3rd like 2nd, and the fuel eco has now hit 57 mpg if you drive it with economy in mind.

All in all well worth it, thanks to Celtic I now have a Jetta that goes like a Jet.
