Just thought I'd catch up with you after you tuned the car on Sunday. As you said it took a little while for the tune to "bed in". I drove it for about 20 mins on Sunday afterwards and it definitely felt smoother, but not much quicker. I didn't drive the car on Monday, as I was stuck "driving my desk". I went to the gym Tuesday morning as usual, but as it is only a few miles away the car was really only in cold start mode. After this I took it for an exploratory drive and all I can say is wow what a difference !! the tune has obviously kicked in.
The car is smoother in every gear, it cruises in 5th gear at 40 mph, whereas before it was labouring, pulls like a train in every gear, and the flat spot over 3000 revs is gone. I can really feel the torque
> improvement, especially in 2nd and 3rd...it really does feel like a different engine.
So for anyone who is dithering about getting this done, just make your booking and pay your money, because, without this you are really only getting half your money's worth out of your car.
