We at Celtic Tuning develop all of our own software in house using the very latest equipment.
All of our software is developed in our purpose built dyno cells running state of the art Dynocom 4WD rolling roads to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures (where applicable) are all within tolerance.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

OPTIONS

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Where applicable we are able to raise the RPM limiter enabling a wider RPM band for performance. This is available on both petrol and diesel engines.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. For more information please refer to our section on DPF Removal.Where applicable we are able to raise/lower or completely remove the maximum speed limiter from a vehicle.

Witchcraft is all I can call it - in the space of an hour and a half my cars performance has been improved beyond recognition. Tick-over sounds less like a tractor and more like a sporty diesel, the turbo lag has been almost eliminated and acceleration just keeps coming- I gave it a try out up a steep duel carriageway, into the wind and in 4th the pull was just fab, I’ll just have to watch to not speed - its too easy.

Acceleration is really easy and smooth and just keeps on going and going - can't wait to try out on the motorway and see how it cruises. Just gotta remember it’s a short 4wd and not to get too tail happy around the roundabout in town.... cheers!

There is a lot of limitation built into modern gearbox software to help hold back the power gains you are trying to achieve from your engine, our gearbox software overcomes this and helps transform the way the car drives. Some of the modifications include raising maximum torque limiters, faster gear shift speeds, increased clamping pressures to prevent clutch wear, increased engine RPM limiters and much more…
