"Seat Ibiza FR - Stage 1 reMap: The engineer turned up nice and early, I ask if there was anything he needed... 'no mate just the key'.Two cups of tea later, all done, invoice paid via debit card... who process could not have been easier! Now, for the difference: Immediate difference, totally noticeable, the lag from toe to torque is halved at least.1st to 2nd is slightly smoother, 2nd to 3rd @ 2k rpm is just lovely... very very smooth... 3rd to 4th @ 3k rpm and 4th to 5th @ 3k rpm is identical...it just pulls and pulls.. no in an extreme boy racer way, but actual better response up and back down the gears.I previously had a 2.0 Golf GTI... am not saying the Ibiza is the same, but it actually drives better than the golf did. I've have nothing but good things to say about Celtic - highly recommend"

Fantastic!

Being the first time I’ve ever had a car remapped, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The whole process took about an hour. Instantly on the test drive, as I was waiting for the engine to warm up, I noticed the throttle response was much sharper, more playful, and the car felt even more comfortable at very low revs. I must admit, I didn’t fully realise how much the car had changed during the test drive. I did open the taps, and noticed the increased “oomf”. But I barely went over 3000 rpm so didn’t know the full story.

On my drive home that evening, I went beyond 3000 rpm, upwards of 4500rpm. This is now a different animal, it pulls like a train and only really comes into its own at around 3500 / 4000 rpm, it feels insanely quick! It’s a bit quicker below 3000 rpm, but from then on it’s in a completely different ball game. I genuinely think it could keep up with a Golf R, or atleast get close to it!

The best thing is, the power delivery is still smooth, it’s just that it lasts so much longer. I’ll need to change the way I drive to fully appreciate it, if before I would have changed up a gear to keep on the power, I now stay in the same gear.

Most fun from this map? 4th gear, 3000 rpm. Floor it!!

Excellent company to deal with both on the phone & in person, the remap took less than an hour to complete.

You notice the difference immediately especially if you travel the same route regularly, I have a couple of hills on my commute to work & the remap has enabled me to negotiate them in a higher gear with no drop in mph, I would highly recommend Celtic tuning well done!

Friendly and efficient - my remap was done conveniently at my home in a little over an hour. The performance increase, from 60 to 79bhp is noticeable and, although it is never going to set the world alight, the car is now distinctly more sprightly - with no apparent increase in fuel consumption.

I would highly recommend Celtic Tuning. Oh, and it seems remarkably good value too!

Took the car to get done and collected after 3/4 hours. The car is transformed it pulls so well in every gear. Took from 103 bhp to 150 and from 184lbs torque to 235.

It's amazing to drive and the road tax is £30 a year!

If you are ever in doubt whether to have a car remapped, then stop and listen. I recently had a visit from Celtic Tuning, Kevin who was very polite and ever the professional helped me with any questions I had and completed the job very quickly indeed.

Now the Leon had some go with 150bhp, bit now with 199bhp the car really moves, it is so smooth and more refined and quieter. I cannot say enough about how smooth the power delivery is and how me and the Mrs fight over the keys now.

Best thing we have done with this car by far. Thanks Celtic Tuning.

I previously had an engine remap performed at Celtic Tuning which ramped up the bhp to 205 from 147 and I love the extra power, it really made the car drive like a completely different vehicle.

After my previous delight I noticed that Celtic were also doing DSG gearbox remaps for my vehicle, so I couldn't resist!

I'm really pleased with the outcome; I now have quicker gear shifts and more torque - very pleased would recommend it!

I had an EGR valve removal and a Stage 1 remap. The car is now smoother and very rapid; the torque has to be felt to be believed.

I am also getting much better fuel consumption (right foot permitting!)

AUTOMATIC

HAVE AN AUTOMATIC?

Alongside the engine control unit (ECU) we are also able to provide transmission control unit (TCU) software to help further enhance your vehicle. There is a lot of limitation built into modern gearbox software to help hold back the power gains you are trying to achieve from your engine, our gearbox software overcomes this and helps transform the way the car drives. Some of the modifications include raising maximum torque limiters, faster gear shift speeds, increased clamping pressures to prevent clutch wear, increased engine RPM limiters and much more…
