We at Celtic Tuning develop all of our own software in house using the very latest equipment.
All of our software is developed in our purpose built dyno cells running state of the art Dynocom 4WD rolling roads to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures (where applicable) are all within tolerance.
We pride ourselves on our ability to achieve maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. We have just had our motorhome remapped to improve fuel economy and driving command.

This has been the second motorhome Celtic Tuning has remapped for us, again what a difference the van is not only with fuel economy but how the vehicle drives with more ease on the road managing to negotiate the hills and flats with so little ease.

The staff are very friendly putting you at ease when you arrive, free tea and coffee while we waited in a nice lounge area for our van.

Alongside the engine control unit (ECU) we are also able to provide transmission control unit (TCU) software to help further enhance your vehicle. There is a lot of limitation built into modern gearbox software to help hold back the power gains you are trying to achieve from your engine, our gearbox software overcomes this and helps transform the way the car drives. Some of the modifications include raising maximum torque limiters, faster gear shift speeds, increased clamping pressures to prevent clutch wear, increased engine RPM limiters and much more…
