The Mazda BT-50 with its 4 cylinder engine is an excellent base for tuning as its relatively underpowered as standard but capable of very good torque figures. It uses Bosch EDC16 ECU technology, and due to locality and difficulty of removal, we only carry these out at our workshop location. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

OPTIONS

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. For more information please refer to our section on DPF Removal.Where applicable we are able to raise/lower or completely remove the maximum speed limiter from a vehicle.

I would like to say that the engineer that came to carry out my remap was very pleasant and professional thought the process.

Since I had the new software installed I have noticed a vast difference in the power due to the extra 40 hp and the smoothness through the acceleration. I was sceptical about the gain in MPG, however I am very pleased to say when driven calmly, I have gained an extra 4/5 MPG. I used to run mainly at 35.5 to 36.5 MPG but today on the motorway it clocked 40 MPG.

My fuel app after a couple of fills is telling my that per mile it now costs me 12p per from 15p.

I am very pleased with the results and have already recommended you to a couple of colleagues.

Thanks guys no doubt be using you a third time when I change cars once more.

Remap from 185bhp to 227bhp. Much more smoother acceleration now, and goes like the clappers.
