This is a worthwhile upgrade. The extra torque from the stage 1 Map really helps with overtaking ability. Nothing to do with the map (suspect it’s the Kia selection of turbo) but if you always keep revs above 1.5k then it’s always ready to go.

Very happy with the result.

I've just had my car done. All took about an hour and a half. Could feel the improvement. Used them before on a Skoda Fabia Vrs. Same excellent service. Keep it up!

Had my Kia Sedona 2009 auto reprogrammed today by Celtic Tuning, before the remap it was sluggish on pull away and overtaking. Now it's like a different engine, much smoother drive, sounds different too, no more hesitation at junctions or overtaking, can now hear the faint whine of the turbo that I never noticed before and it seems to come in quicker too now .

Much more of a pleasure to drive now, will be interested to see how the fuel consumption is now as it is much smoother going up the gears (auto).

Many thanks to Cameron very professional and would recommend this remap (stage 1) to all other Kia Sedona owner.

Bought a used KIA Sorento, 2.2 CRDI automatic earlier this year. Initially I wasn't going to bother with a remap as the car had a hefty 194bhp but after a few weeks of driving I realized the fuel economy was quite poor at: 27-29mpg round town and low 30's on the motorway.

Since the Celtic Tuning economy remap (215 bhp 456Nm) town driving has risen to 32-33, motorway late 30's. Saying that, our 7 hour trip, 2 days after the remap was with a fully laden car with a roof box. I imagine the motorway economy will rise further in time?

Overall the car feels smoother to drive and a little more powerful; which is great for overtaking! But my real issue was the low fuel economy. I think it's worth having this remap done if you own the Sorento or its Santa Fe cousin.

From the initial order, to the finished project, everyone involved at Celtic Tuning have been brilliant! Tommy, the engineer arrived exactly on time, got to work straight away, and within an hour and a half, was done and ready for a road test.

Instantly, I noticed a difference, with the loss of the flat spot at 1,000 rpm and the engine having greater bottom end torque. Since the tuning work was carried out, I have now covered over 1,500 miles and cannot shout the praises loud enough!!

An increase of around 6 - 8 mpg is achieved if driven normally as before, with far better 'drive-ability' - fewer gear changes needed, greater acceleration and reduced overtaking distances etc. etc. performance in fourth gear particularly, is great, although the enhancement can be felt in each and every gear.

Thank you all at Celtic Tuning - you have made it the car it always should have been!!

Before the remap, the Sorento felt like a bit of a tractor, lots of noise but no go. It does have torque but I never trusted myself with much of an overtake because there was never anything in reserve and no real feeling of torque to get a move on.

After the remap, the torque is very evident and when I get around to fitting the tow bar, pulling a large trailer will be a breeze I’m sure. The tuner arrived on time and did two cars in about an hour.
