Just wanted to write and say thanks for the great job you did on my Jaguar XJ 3.0D today. The 50BHP and 80lb/ft you rediscovered for me were noticeable on the drive home, with noticeably water and more immediate performance.But alongside that, I reset the fuel computer on the way down to assess motorway MPG over around 30 minutes and was clocking around 48MPG. On the way back, I did the same again and was now clocking over 62MPG! Even the urban cycle only is now almost 50MPG, where it was more like 35MPG before. Amazing improvement! (You can see photo proof of the benefits in MPG below.)Thanks, too, for the advice about the MAP and airflow DTCs - I’ve fitted the replacement MAP sensor I had bought and could swear I’ve found further BHP as a result, but I will look into getting the engine smoke-tested just in case.Fantastic work from both of you today and great service from start to finish.

I recently had my XF re-mapped by Celtic. The guy turned up on time on the day he was very polite and answered every question I had. When I drove it for the first time after the remap I was extremely pleased with the results. Yes, it is quicker and more responsive, however, there is more to it than just that. The car pulls away so much more fluidly and the delivery of power is silky smooth. I have also noticed an improved fuel economy. If you are serious about having this done call Celtic Tuning. They are very professional and experts at what they do.

I rate Celtic Tuning very highly. This is a no-nonsense professional company. No, if's or but's they delivered excellent customer service and a brilliant remap.
My car already had great torque and plenty of grunt but Celtic Tuning made an awesome car better. The cost of the remap was very competitive. I will use this company to do all of my performance upgrades in the future.
I am very happy!

This is the first time I have used Celtic Tuning but I would definitely use them again.

The guy who came to do the remap was called Cameron. Courteous, friendly and even put up with some mindless questions from me. A top bloke.

The job was completed in an hour, exactly as he told me it would. As for the car, I almost had to make sure it was the same one. What a difference. In standard tune it always had quite a bit of torque but now it is unreal. And from just 1750rpm it just starts pulling harder and harder, with no dips in the power delivery at all. All the way to the red line. Very un-diesel like!! And It is so much smoother than before. So, thank you CT. You will be recommended by me to anyone interested in doing the same thing.

I had my car re-mapped at one of Celtic's dealers, lakeside Garage near Heathrow. My car was good before and I was getting good fuel economy, but after the re-map not only has it got more grunt from the moment you pull away it is much smoother drive with more power it has made a very good car a car that I am more than happy with and I will be going back if I ever change my car again straight from the garage I buy from to get another re-map.

If you're reading this it's probably because you're wondering if it's worth doing to your XF.

Well, after having the same debate with myself and deciding to go for it I had Kevin turn up last week. As everyone else has said it's a very simple process so I won't bore you with the details.

It's been a week now and the results are frankly better than I could have hoped for. I don't know if the figures are what is quoted but what I can say is that it's transformed the car. If anything it's now smoother in traffic in "boring" mode but in Dynamic and Sport modes it really flies. It feels slightly quicker than my old S4 Avant.
Low down torque is hugely improved and it belts you down the road far quicker than any big diesel should.
Oh and with cruise control set on the motorway at 70(ish) my MPG has gone from 39 to 45mpg (a 40 mile motorway trip daily measured in both directions over a week).

If you're wondering if you should go for this, the short answer is a very big YES!

I've never had a car tuned before so I was quite excited about getting this done. Kevin arrived on time to carry out the work. After a couple hours it was all finished.

Around town the car still feels very similar to before, which is very good. When driving sensibly on country roads it's still civilised, quiet and smooth but give it a bit of right boot and it just takes off like a furious weasel! The power increase is more than I expected but it's a nice smooth delivery with no dips or peaks.

I'm really pleased with how the car drives and would strongly recommend the remap to any XF owner.
