We at Celtic Tuning develop all of our own software in house using the very latest equipment.
All of our software is developed in our purpose built dyno cells running state of the art Dynocom 4WD rolling roads to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures (where applicable) are all within tolerance.
We pride ourselves on our ability to achieve maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. For more information please refer to our section on DPF Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the AdBlue system enabling it to be removed from the vehicle.Where applicable we are able to switch off the Start/Stop function rendering it inactive, and preventing the engine from automatically turning off when stationary.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the swirl flaps, enabling them to be removed from the vehicle and save costly repair bills.

Had our 2011 BMW X1 18d Sdrive mapped with Celtic Tunings Stage 1 remap. Can't tell you how good this has been. Awesome performance, better fuel economy, more flexibility when cruising, overtaking at motorway speeds is completely effortless.

Wish I'd had it done sooner. Always regretting buying the 18d as it felt under powered, no longer. The Stage 1 map has made it the car it always should have been at a fraction of the cost of buying a 20d or 23d model.
