After a lot of doubt I decided to get the car remapped. The process was handled very efficiently and I was made to feel most welcome. The results very pleasing. What was already a very smooth car to drive is now even smoother thanks to increased low end torque getting the car into a higher gear quickly.
The performance increase is quite staggering, I now get a real thump in the back when accelerating hard. When accelerating from 40 mph I have even managed to get wheel spin. Fuel economy seems to have improved by about 3 mpg.
