The 1.8 20v Turbo engine is a superb base for tuning, with a huge list of stock components as well as aftermarket, the potential for tuning this engine is huge. Running a large flow capacity KO4 turbo, it?s good for higher pressures and more power than the KO3 range in the lower power variants. The performance gains from software alone are impressive! Check out our Stage 2 & 3 conversions if modified software alone isn't enough as this engine has the capability of 400bhp with the right setup! We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.d as our fast road application which is the best all round performance for stock vehicles.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to raise the RPM limiter enabling a wider RPM band for performance. This is available on both petrol and diesel engines.Where applicable we are able to raise/lower or completely remove the maximum speed limiter from a vehicle.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the swirl flaps, enabling them to be removed from the vehicle and save costly repair bills.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the secondary oxygen (O₂) sensor, allowing for the removal of the catalytic converter without triggering diagnostic trouble codes or warning lights.Immobiliser Delete

Absolutely awesome job again from Celtic, the 225 TT when standard lacks any sense of urgency and feels very sluggish to be quite honest, but following the remap it's a totally different car, the mid-range and top end is totally transformed whilst retaining sedate drivability lower down for driving in town etc.

The TT now feels fun and like it actually has some power under the bonnet, if you have a TT and you haven't remapped it, don't question it, simply do it, you definitely won't regret it!!

Can't thank Celtic enough for the service they provide either, brilliant guys!!

I am very pleased with the upgrade, this is the performance a TT should have from the start, acceleration through the gears is awesome, the speedo resembles the rev counter now.

It took about 10 miles for the re mapping to settle then when it did the fun started.

Guys,

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I arranged to have my engine re-mapped but I knew I needed something extra from my 225.

When Peter arrived he briefly talked me through what he was going to do and then I just left him to it. Just over an hour later I went for a spin in my 'new' car...the difference was awesome. I was more surprised at just how smoothly the power is now delivered....it doesn’t have the huge turbo lag it used to and feels like a totally different car. Just want to say thanks boys; once again I now have a smile on my face every time I put my foot down!
