The 3.0 V6 TDi engine utilises a Garrett VNT turbo, intercooler and Common Rail injection system with Bosch EDC16 ECU controller. Running pressures up to 1600 bar standard the engine provides very solid linear performance and an exceptionally quiet combustion. Once remapped the power increase is all through the rev range with a huge boost to mid range torque and all round drivability. We regularly see good fuel economy gains on these engines and further noise reduction from the engine. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. What can I say apart from fantastic! These guys really know what they're doing. I'm a computer programmer but I was besotted with the extreme low-level detail they work at.

First test drive with the installer (who was a great bloke) showed a big improvement in the car's overall performance, but it wasn't until I got in the car by myself that I really started to let things out and see what the tuning had done - and boy does it "fly!!" The acceleration, torque and automatic gear-shifting are far superior to Audi's factory tolerance settings and the engine is a lot smoother as well.
