I've just picked my car up from those great guys at Lakeside Garage in Wraysbury who carried out the remap with no fuss, cups of coffee and good banter.
The difference is huge, depress right foot and the whole car feels different, tons of torque and bags of horsepower squish me back into the seat along with that muffled V6 roar from the front end.
To anyone that's toying with the idea: do it now! You won't ever regret it. Brilliant!

Being in Wales I had the pleasure of having my Audi A5 worked on by George. By contrast to my friends Golf (which took around 20minutes), being a newer, encrypted, ecu my map took a little longer. This was due to the removal, opening and bench flashing required. At all steps George fully explained what was required and why. He had such care and respect while working with my car I never felt concerned by what could look like a fairly invasive procedure!
After this was completed, the difference was instant, muscle memory putting feet in normal accelerator positions now meant that there was more than required power to move out of the parking bay!
On a straight piece of road opening it up a little, the car feels amazing. Torque is available at around the same place, but much more of it, and it increases all the way through the rev range way past its previous 4k rpm up to 4.5k rpm with little less power up to around 4.8k rpm.
Truly has transformed the car, the Quattro grip is now a requirement and leads to opportunities from standing starts that would not have been there before ;)
