The very latest generation of VAG engine is the new Common Rail turbo diesel. With massively improved refinement and with multiple injection technology it is possible to achieve impressive power levels without detriment to emissions or reliability. Using the latest generation of ECU also, this engine has huge potential for custom turbo upgrades alike. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fueling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

STAGE NOTES

The stage 2 software on this vehicle is designed for use with standard components and is within mechanical tolerances. This is classed as our fast road application which is the best all round performance for stock vehicles.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. My car has been remapped from 134bhp to the stage 1 at 206bhp and wow what a difference!! I am very pleased with the results!!

I only had a done a few days ago and can already notice a difference with the fuel consumption and the initial power response is greatly improved! Excellent customer service and very prompt and on time.

Overall I would rate Celtic Tuning very highly and would recommend to anyone wanting a good reliable service!!

Thanks to all at Celtic Tuning you have done a great job on my Audi A4. Everything has improved quite noticeably...Power, Torque, Smoothness, Drive-ability... The car feels like it grew into a 3.0 overnight, but the fuel consumption improved!?!

I'd been looking for a good remap for a while, after having a pretty ropey one on an old 320d a few years ago. I'm glad I stumbled upon Celtic tuning! The car is now smoother, quieter and warms up quicker.

We wanted a map that addressed the horribly hesitant low-rev response of the 170 engine, as my wife found pulling into traffic quite dangerous - we either had to floor it or risk stalling! Now it's like a new car, and it has the bonus of pulling up hills in 5th at 35 mph without even grumbling. Economy seems to be up, with my normal commute going from 40/42mpg to 47mpg this morning on a mixture of roads.

Genuinely happy - felt like I was in safe hands with Cameron who was off to go and do a Scirocco next (same engine) - if you're thinking about it, ask yourself this: Do you want your car to feel like it's gone from a 2L to a 3L overnight in terms of power, yet gone from a 2L to a 1.6 in terms of economy?

Job done!

Hi, Just wanted to say thanks.

My A4 TDI S line 170 is now the car it should have been from the factory. It’s just better everywhere. Pulls lower on the rev range, mid-range power is impressive and revs freely with no real drop off. I'm getting 4-5mpg more without trying.

I can now pull away in 2nd gear and the car doesn't stall when cold at junctions, it’s now a complete joy to drive...
