The 1.9 TDi 103bhp engine runs PD injection with the latest generation of EDC16 ECU fitted to the PD range. The remap we offer is an extremely safe and reliable upgrade due to the level of tolerances available in this unit. The power at 158bhp provides for impressive performance and a nice improvement in fuel economy. For those wishing to get the very best we can increase the bhp further still with software upgrade alone. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

Our Stage 1 ECU remap is developed to safely improve your vehicle's power and torque whilst maintaining standard components and remaining within tolerances. <br/><br/> It's the perfect balance of increased power and day-to-day usability, which is ideal for those who want extra performance but not at the cost of additional hardware or reliability.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. Had my Audi A3 Stage 1 tuned by Celtic Tuning and all I can say is WOW!!!!! it feels like a completely new car thanks to the almost 60%increase in BHP, it pulls like a train all the way through every gear, there are no dead spots at all and there isn't any noticeable impact on the fuel economy, I'm still able to get around 600 miles per tank if driven normally and around 550 if driven like I stole it.

Don't be put off by the wait times for booking appointments you won't be disappointed by the end result, I will always use these guys in the future to tune any of my new vehicles.
