The 1.9 JTD 16v 150bhp is the first incarnation of the Multijet engine. Utilising multiple injections per stroke it pushed refinement and power levels to a new high. With our software upgrade we can achieve 212bhp and 327lbft torque which gives for superb performance. A later development of this engine got released with 170bhp and 243lbft torque fitted to the Alfa GT and 147. This variant is a straight forward factory remapped version which uses the same turbo and Injectors, this therefore allows us to offer a factory 170bhp upgrade for those wishing to stick to factory specifications. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

STAGE NOTES

This is our Stage 2 upgrade which builds upon the cloverleaf software. With no additional boost pressures this is our fast road option for optimum performance and reliability.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. Having already had remaps from these guys on my last two cars I couldn't wait to get it on the Alfa, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Kevin arrived again at my place of work and only took about half an hour to apply the map. He then suggested I take it for a spin and the difference was amazing!! Much better response and much more power, and whilst economy is suffering at the minute due to my newly discovered lead foot, I have no doubt that once it/I settle down it will improve slightly as before.

Kevin also disabled the EGR by his own recommendation which will save me a job in the future. Couldn't recommend these guys enough, really great company to deal with.

Fantastic job on my Alfa GT… I’ve done over 250 miles since Wednesday and the change is unbelievable.

The car has got so much more grunt and what’s more the fuel consumption has gone up. I got 51mpg on a run over 200 miles and I wasn’t taking it easy…

The guys appeared through the grim foggy North East night armed to the teeth with laptop and bags of enthusiasm and knowledge.

We soon trotted off for a test drive... Well what can I say!  The power increase was incredible and noticeable from the start. Was 150 bhp now around 205Bhp, was 225 lbs ft now around 305 lbs ft. Also what was noticeable from my fuel computer was an increase in 2-3 mpg, Bonus! A fantastic job done by friendly enthusiastic guys who know what they are talking about, unlike some others...

Amazing difference in performance. The acceleration pick up is sooo different and improved. An Audi TT (bigger-engined one) tried to shake me off and couldn't! And marginally better MPG so good deal all round.

Job was done swiftly and efficiently and we went for a drive to confirm all good - which it was! Thanks guys.
